I trained as a psychotherapist at the Metanoia Institute [www.metanoia.ac.uk/] in London and have an MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy (Middlesex University). I am registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapists [www.ukcp.org.uk/] (UKCP).

My initial counselling training was with Relate [www.ukcp.org.uk/], for whom I worked for over 16 years. I am an Accredited Member of British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy [www.bac.co.uk/] (BACP).

More recently, I trained at the Post Adoption Centre [www.postadoptioncentre.org.uk/] in London, completing their Pre- and Post-Adoption courses for experienced therapists. I worked at the centre as a freelance therapist from 1998-2003. I completed their course 'Working with severe attachment difficulties' in 2003.
